Willow Wash was not built by a corporation. It was built by two people who decided the Bay Area deserved better exterior cleaning — and were willing to do the work to prove it.
Willow Wash started in 2024 with a straightforward decision between two friends. Burch and Jayden had been talking about building something together for a while — a business they could control, one where the quality would be their responsibility and the customer experience would be something they could guarantee from start to finish.
They landed on exterior cleaning because it made sense: scalable without being unmanageable, hands-on enough to guarantee results, and an industry where doing the work right was a genuine competitive advantage because most operators were not doing it right. Burch already had experience in exterior cleaning — he knew the craft. The difference this time was building a real company around it: proper licensing, active insurance, eco-friendly chemistry, and a commitment to standards that would hold up on any property, any size.
They were not trying to build the biggest exterior cleaning operation in the Bay Area. They were trying to build the most reliable one. The one that property managers would add to their approved vendor list and not think twice about calling. The one that homeowners in Los Gatos and Saratoga would refer to their neighbors because the result spoke for itself.
What started as two people and a clear set of standards now serves more than 36 cities across the Bay Area — residential and commercial. The standards have not changed. They will not.
"We built Willow Wash because we knew how exterior cleaning should be done — and we wanted to be the company that actually did it that way."
Every estimate. Every job. Every final walkthrough. Burch and Jayden are there — not a crew, not a subcontractor, not someone you have never spoken to.
Burch
Co-Founder & Operator
Burch came into Willow Wash with real exterior cleaning experience already behind him. He had done the work before — but without the infrastructure, the accountability, and the professional standard that a properly built company demands. Building Willow Wash from the ground up was the chance to do it correctly.
He leads client relationships, commercial business development, and quality control for the company. He handles estimates personally, is on-site for every job, and manages the operational side of the business with the same standard on every property. Based in San Jose, he built Willow Wash with a clear goal: create a company the Bay Area's best property owners and managers would choose to work with on a recurring basis.
Jayden
Co-Founder & Operator
Jayden co-founded Willow Wash with Burch in 2024 and has been on the ground for every job the company has taken on since day one. His approach to the work is the same whether the job is a residential driveway or a large post-construction commercial project: it gets done right, or it gets done again.
He brings reliability, physical discipline, and a genuine attention to detail to every property Willow Wash touches. As one of two owners on every site, he is directly accountable for every result the company delivers — not through oversight, but because he is the one doing the work. That is the way Willow Wash was designed from the beginning.
From a conversation in 2024 to a growing commercial and residential exterior cleaning operation across the Bay Area.
Established in San Jose, California. Licensed, insured, and built from day one to operate at a level that could compete for any residential or commercial account in the Bay Area.
Expanded coverage to residential and commercial clients across the South Bay, Peninsula, East Bay, and Tri-Valley — with the same standard on every job regardless of location.
Active commercial work including large-scale post-construction cleaning in North San Jose — four buildings, nearly 720,000 square feet. Building preferred vendor status with GCs and property managers across the Bay Area.
From the first residential job to the largest commercial project on the books — every property gets the same level of preparation, execution, documentation, and accountability. That will not change.
There is a version of an exterior cleaning business that is easy to run. You take any job, you send whoever is available, you do it fast and move on. There is no shortage of operators in the Bay Area doing exactly that.
That is not what we built. We built something harder — a company where the owners are accountable for every result because the owners are the ones delivering every result. No hand-offs, no shortcuts, no cutting corners because the customer will not notice.
The reason we operate this way is simple: we respect the properties we work on and the people who own them. A homeowner in Los Gatos trusting us with their cedar siding and stone hardscape. A property manager in San Jose who needs a vendor they can call without following up. A GC who needs a clean building ready for final walkthroughs. All of them deserve the same level of care — and that is what we give them.
The owners are on every job. The result is our direct responsibility. There is no one else to pass it to.
Every surface gets the correct technique. If something is not right at the end of the job, it gets fixed before we leave. The standard does not move.
Licensed, insured, documented, compliant, and easy to work with. The company that earns the call without the client needing to wonder if they made the right choice.
Eco-friendly chemistry, pre-watered landscaping, and full California stormwater compliance — not because it is required, but because it is the right way to operate.
Questions we get about who we are and how we operate.
Willow Wash is owned equally by Burch and Jayden, two co-founders who started the company in San Jose in 2024. There are no silent investors, no parent company, and no franchise relationship. This is an independently owned and operated business.
Yes. Both Burch and Jayden are on-site for every job Willow Wash takes on — residential or commercial. You are not dealing with subcontractors, temporary crew, or employees who are not directly accountable for the outcome. When you book a job with Willow Wash, the people who show up are the people whose name and reputation are on the line.
The exterior cleaning market in the Bay Area had a lot of operators cutting corners — wrong pressure settings, no surface assessment, no insurance, no real accountability when something went wrong. Burch had prior experience doing exterior cleaning and knew what the right way to do the work looked like. Building Willow Wash was an opportunity to create a company structured around that standard rather than just being another unaccountable operator in the market.
Willow Wash LLC was founded in 2024. Since then we have expanded to 36+ Bay Area cities and completed work ranging from residential exterior cleaning projects to large-scale commercial post-construction exterior cleaning spanning nearly 720,000 square feet in North San Jose.
Yes. Our commercial portfolio includes post-construction exterior cleaning in North San Jose across four buildings totaling nearly 720,000 square feet. We understand job site access requirements, construction phase timing, GC documentation needs, and what property managers expect from a vendor they can depend on without having to micromanage the process.
We want Willow Wash to become the exterior cleaning company that the Bay Area's best property managers, GCs, and homeowners rely on repeatedly — not just for one job, but as a long-term partner. A company known for showing up on time, doing the work correctly, and making the client's life easier. Growth is a goal, but it will never come at the cost of the standard that got us here.
Free in-person estimates. No call centers, no dispatchers. You deal directly with Burch or Jayden from the first call to the final walkthrough.
